Advanced Antimicrobial Wound Protection

Silverlon® Surgical Dressings are the safest and most powerful antimicrobial surgical barrier wound dressings available, and should be placed in primary contact with the surgical incision. Silverlon® Surgical Dressings are different (Cura Surgical).

All Silverlon® Surgical Dressings are composed of a wound contact layer of Silverlon® and an absorbency pad. Silverlon® Pad Dressings have a patent pending backing layer of perforated polyurethane film that allows moisture to be released from or added to the absorbency pad for non adherence and easy inspection. Silverlon® Island Surgical Dressings have a 2 inch of tape border. In both cases, the Silverlon® wound contact layer provides an antimicrobial barrier to all known environmental and wound pathogens. All Silverlon® Antimicrobial Surgical Dressings and its packaging are Latex Free.

Artificial bone saves girl's arm
"It's devastating for any child to learn he or she has cancer, especially one little girl from Iowa. Her only chance to beat it required losing a limb. But before doctors amputated, they wanted to try something new -- a surgery that is the first of its kind in the United States."
Source: Dr. Joette Giovinco - FOX 13 Medical Reporter/ May 3, 2011

Building upon its reputation in transplant surgery, Silverlon® has once again been chosen for the most critical of applications. No other surgical dressing or surgical bandage has earned this level of confidence among clinicians.
